Job Description

TBD Architecture + Urban Planning is searching for graduates from a University accredited professional degree Architectural program of studies. Architects with all levels of experience are encouraged to apply.

We are an Edmonton-based architectural design studio specializing in Sports and Recreation, Civil/Cultural, Multi-Family Housing and Urban Master Planning projects. We are currently working on a number of high-profile projects in these sectors across Western Canada and the Caribbean. We are proud of the clients we have met, made friends with, and worked side by side with to support projects that enhance their environments and enrich the lives and businesses of Clients and their communities.

The successful candidate will become an integral part of our design and delivery team, working with firm and project leaders.

Requirements

  • Graduated from a University Program or Technology School with an accredited degree in an architectural program of studies
  • Attention to detail and strong design skills
  • Must possess strong drawing skills (renderings, design partis, technical drawings)
  • Advanced Skills Set in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Project and PowerPoint
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work with diverse team members as well as work independently
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work efficiently under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.

Additional Assets:

The following skills are not required for this position but would be considered an asset

  • Experience or familiarization in generative design or automated rendering platforms is and asset
  • Registration as an Architect with the AAA
  • Experience preparing documents and communication of information during construction phases
  • Advanced skill set in Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator etc.
  • Interest or accreditation with sustainable project development: LEED, Passive House, etc. is an asset
