Job Description

Tasks

  • Conduct research
  • Determine the objectives and milestones of a new project
  • Develop the content of the curriculum
  • Elaborate the structure of the curriculum
  • Evaluate the actual educational outcomes in comparison with the intended outcomes expressed in the objectives of the program
  • Supervise other education policy researchers, consultants and program officers
  • Produce reports
  • Follow education policies and programs
  • Perform administrative tasks
  • Evaluate curriculum programs and recommend improvements
  • Conduct statistical analyses to determine cost and effectiveness of education policies and programs
  • Provide on-going professional development, training and consultative services to teachers
  • Develop teaching materials and other resources for program delivery
  • Prepare research papers, educational texts or articles
  • Provide consulting services to government and other organizations
  • Deliver presentations at conferences, workshops or symposia
  • Monitor and evaluate
  • Supervise office and volunteer staff
  • May work in a team with shared supervisory responsibilities
  • Supervise technicians, assistants, students or interns, staff or volunteers
  • Provide on-site services
